I am not sure what to say about it. Its not really based on facts or reliable sources. It’s basically a desperate attempt to prove the evil in Islam.This Movie is not discus worthy! Its the same crap Wilders have been telling us in the past. Fact is people find peace in religion, be it Islam or Buddhism. Religion is a personal thing, discussing it causes friction between people.

Geert Wilders, he doesn’t understand at all about Islam. He put the Qur’an statement only piece by piece. If he really intelligent, so he should do the anti-islam movie with his brain no emotion. Do it in great not in coward way like this. Okey, it’s his choice to be one of anti Islam but it doesn’t mean he can insult another religion with emotion.
For everyone who hates Islam, use your brain.
I’m moslem. I appreciate all of religions. I also appreciate if you hate Islam, it’s your choice. But c’mmon it’s not the time to spread your hate emotion. It’s not the time to blame each of religions….

In fact & as a muslim, I can see that Geert has a political agenda behind this as the film contains NOTHING to mention. For Non-muslims who care to know the truth of this religion “Islam”, find an English book (Or your language) & read it from cover to cover. You will see how Misleading the film is & how far Writers/Directors are able to manipulate facts to deceive people.
I guess that Mr. Geert has supported Islam & his movie will increase “Islamization” in the world, not only in Europe. At the end of the day, all readers have to know that current muslims are Far Far away of applying the real & correct Islam; the gift that God (Allah) granted to human beings.
Anyway, we love everyone, we respect all people & even Islam is the FIRST religion that orders people to take care of ANIMALs (Dpgs, Cat, Camles). So, how Muslims can accept & approve those explosions in public places……No i guess muslims are not behind this. Jake, you are an angry, angry man… Calm down a little, there are two sides of any story. Geert did a wonderful job by presenting a heavily biased movie. Have you ever thought WHY there are terrorism in the first place? Muslims in Afganistan, Iraq, Palestine and many more are living in fear, lost their freedom, and oppressed to the the most extreme level.
Try something, emphatize, put yourself in their shoes. How would you feel, may God forbid, if someone killed your family members in front of your eyes? Hatred are seed sown by men, not by ANY religion…
The muslims believe in Jesus and Moses (and consequently the holy books that they revealed to mankind). In fact, it is part of our faith to believe in them as Messengers from God and the Books as words of God. We call them people of the book, many times I refer to christians and Jews as ‘brothers’. So, brother Jake, as we know, in any religion, if you know your statistics, there will be the outliers… people who have the wrong ideas of the teachings and strongly believe in something that is not intended by the religion.
Islam, the word in Arab literally means Peace. An Prophet Muhammad during his earlier years, was spit on, thrown feces and urine and offended in many ways, he in returned prayed in tears asking for God’s forgiveness for these people. We are asked to practice Islam just as the prophet did, and as you can see, terrorism was never in his practice nor teaching.

So there are in Islam, the sunnis, syiahs, wahabis and many more… As in any cause of action, the religious book often refered to get excerpts that can be manipulated to legalize their athrocities, so is happening to some countries.At one point in history, Christianity and the church strictly prohibited any inventions that cannot be well understood by them, they jailed, tortured and may have killed many even the scholars who claim the sun to be the center of the earth orbit. see,… misinterpretation of the book existed throughout our time. and as we refer to the history books or search the internet, we can see many more similar evenats,… we have our downsides, both of us….
Generalization is actually an act that results from poor comprehension and short sighted, ill-prepared research work. I am writing this not to defend my religion alone, I am deeply saddened by what is happening to the word and the way the mass (who are misinformed) view at my religion.

This movie is one more attempt to open the eyes of those people who in the name of freedom and justice, can’t see the imminent danger posed by radical islam and its followers.
The most striking part in the movie was the population growth chart, it gives a better picture of the whole design. These islamic people have no respect for their adopted country. They have come to take control by force, by number. We understand the message of this movie completely.
If Netherlands and other European countries do not take strict measures to curb the explosive population growth of the muslims, the beautiful countries will turn into African desert in no time.
If history is any guide, the superior intelligence has more often become victim of its own principles and destroyed by the degenerates who quite simply, follow no rules.

As a liberal Iranian guy who has been living in Iran for the whole life, I totally agree with the contents of this movie. All the demonstrated aspects are based on truth. I have seen these things in my country. I have seen how a radical Islamic regime can easily destroy everything, kill people in the name of Islam, threat other countries, etc. I have seen how my Jewish/Persian friends escaped from my country. I can see how people of other countries consider me as a fanatic!!
Iranians hate this religion. That’s it.

I find it funny..alot of these websites and bloggers are quick to criticize christianity..but God forbid we bring up Islam. Its his freedom to do it. Period. Quit crying about it. Evrybody has thin skin. If you dont agree with him..so be it. If what you believe is right..then dont sweat it..you shouldnt feel like you need to prove anything by crying about it..I dont know if I agree with him either..but its still funny it gets so many people upset..what a bunch of ball babies….get over it..or buy a box of kleenex

Well, i’m a girl from Beguim. I’m a moslima and i am proud of it! Now I like the islam a lot, not only because my parents are muslims, but because i am older now, i read about it and get more fimiliar with the islam. What Geert has done is not good, maybe for his as politicus to get attention, but he hurts many people for actually no reason. Know everyone who is non-muslim will think that the islam is like this, how he let see on the movie. But that NOT true!!! The islam don’t say dat we have to kill those who don’t believe!! In fact, the islam say, your religion is yours and mine religion is mine, RESPECT. so, who is talking about killing people????!!! owww, yes, maybe the radical people (like in iran, as K.K. says) but they are not mulims!!!! believe me, if you kill people just because they don’t believe you are not a muslim, islam doesn’t agree terrorisme!!! however it exsist, and i understand why! If the army of us start kicking me and i see they killed my lovely mum and sister i get very angry!!! so i will also do something back, that’s normally, you just can’t sit there and keep watching! so if they hit back and do terrorisme i understand, because they get first terrorismed!!! and what Geert have shown in the movie is NOT the islam.
The islam say, live in peace, do good with people, even if he/she is juwisch. help a old lady get over the street, read and learn, give money to those they need it, ….

I have read and studied a lot on middle and near eastern politics. All that I have read points to a certain fact. Radical Islamics want to wipe away all trace of ‘little Satan’ (Israel) and ‘big Satan’ (United States).
Of course the church has a bad history, but praise God we have learned love and mercy.
As a child of the Book, I fear for my Jewish and Christian brothers and sisters. Tolerance of a radical belief may be ‘political correct’, but is a dangerous mistake. Closing our eyes to a horrible truth doesn’t make it nice nor will it go away. We must stand and fight for the truth. Or kneel and pray.
Evil triumphs when good people ignore or pretend it doesn’t exist.

I am a Christian. I totally disagree with Wilders. I hate this movie, but it would be wrong to prohibit it. It would also be ridiculous to promote it since it gives the view of a few lunatics on what religion does.
But religion does nothing. It is a belief. People do things in it’s name, just and unjust, good and bad. And it happens in any society. So if people refer to Bosnia and Kosovo and Afghanistan and Irak, they are right to protest against injust violence and terror, but they are also wrong in thinking that religion drives these people (even though these people say so themselves). Give all of these people a better life, jobs, health, prospects, and most of all: education, and they will no longer want to drive around on top of car bombs.
Convincing people that religion is meant to be harmless and personal is hard. The world has grown skeptical, factual, cold, and especially those that have suffered from harm will seek some kind of explanation. But we must be carefull not to confuse religion with fanaticism and extremism. “Muslim extremists” are actually “Extremists with muslim faith”. It is curcial that this consideration is part of the debate, otherwise, any belief and occupation can become a blamed source of evil. And Allah beware of Disney Extrimists, no?

Its dangerous, utterly dangerous. Wherever they went, transformed it into a place of lunatics. Afghanisthan once was a center of civilasation, pleple used to go there for learning, see today. See Pakisthan, African countries, middle east, everywhere that religion made the people fanatic, poor and brought them back to stone age. Still there is some money to some Arab countries because of gas, but after 30/40 years, there will be no gas and it will become a countries like Africa. Does it mean that this religion is against civilisation? What do they want? To go back to stone age and take others back to stone age? Jut kill mercilessly? Is God really that cruel? It is commented that the film is political, but the truth is that this religion is also political religion.

Fitna by Geert Wilders is an acute interpretation of the ideals of a few radically-inclined, violently-minded individuals, notably the writers of Surah 8,verse 60 (4,56) the Koran, and mislead, modern-day individuals using the book as an excuse or as a license to commit atrocities.
With passages like Surah 47, verse 4, any nutcase would read that verbatim and will take some explosives and act on it.
Surah 4, verse 89 and Surah 8, verse 39, will surely send someone missing his scheduled dosage of Xanax and Valium to strap some WMD and calmly walk into a mall.
Geert made his points well.
As he said, “For it is not up to me, but to Muslims to tear out the hateful verses from the Quran…”
If Muslims really want peace and harmony for all, they should do more to tear out the radicals. Peace-loving and good-natured Muslims should fight harder to get rid of the evil that hides within Islam.
That was Geert’s message, though, he myopically generalized all Islam. He should have said , “Islam extremists and radical Muslims.”

but how can you see something you don’t believe in?
Religion is a belief as many of you has mentioned it. I hate to think that such cheap movies had had spread hatred among the people, be it muslim and non -muslims.
I wonder what gave K.K. the right to speak of all Iranian people to say that they hate Islam? I have been there for like ten times, despite of all the ‘radical’ rumors about the countries and its people, I found it to be a very beautiful and peaceful country.
It also disgust me hearing and seeing people attacking other people for what they believe in. No one has the right to judge other people, when we hear the news there’s an Islamic Terorist, it doesn’t mean all muslim are terrors.
If we keep on living like this it’s only a matter of time before everyone take a stab on each other. then what’s gonna happen to the hope for peace?

Some people are blind about religion. When you say one finds peace in their religion, that is party true. What you fail to realize is that murder, killing people with car bombs, etc, is not peace. The ones doing the killing are not doing anything wrong according to their religion. If you think it is normal to sit by and think this is peaceful you are just nuts, blind, or a muslim. The desire to kill all Jews, Christians, and others is wrong is not a religion of God, but rather one of evil. Take notice you may be the next one killed because you may be standing by a Jew. All the best.
